The Dubai Festival city is a large residential, business and entertainment development in the city of Dubai, and privately owned and developed by Al- Futtaim group one of the leading business groups in the United Arab Emirates. It is the Middle East’s largest mixed-use development also known as a “city-within-a-city”. Festival city comprises of a series of residential communities, numerous hotels, malls, a golf course and other entertainment sites, and schools. For duration of 4 weeks it will host various art demonstrations, highlighting a special artistic theme and showcasing different activities. The first week will feature a variety of exhibitions including painting and photography. The second week will feature a number of plays and entertainment acts with theatre and fashion. Old Dubai was famous for its wind towers that lined the Creek on both sides, today the narrow lanes festooned with Arabian architecture is a popular historic attraction.

The Wild Wadi Water Park is a water theme park located in the city of Dubai situated next to Jumeirah Beach Hotel. It is designed like an Arabian Oasis and has rides and attractions. The variety of rides makes it a favourite water sport is in Dubai. The souks are popular with bargain hunters as well as sight seers. The most famous is the old souk where the narrow streets are lined with shops selling everything golden from 24 carat bars to rings and necklaces at low prices. At the heart of Bur Dubai souk lies Al Fahidi Street, selling latest electronics, photographic equipment and home appliances at competitive prices. The city of Dubai boasts of its tallest minaret at 230 feet, the Grand Mosque is a notable landmark with its multi-domed style and size, and can accommodate up to 1,200 worshipers.
