marketplace or take advantage of the incredible tax-free prices in the shops.
The whole city is a bustling testament to growth. Once a tiny fishing village,
it now boasts some incredible avant-garde architecture and a thriving
commercial sector. But luxury holidays to dubai are also a great chance to
unwind and relax. The combination of opulent resorts and the warm waters of the
Persian Gulf make it a great place to get away from the stresses and strains of
everyday life. So, if you're looking for a truly memorable Dubai package
holiday - you've certainly come to the right place
And if you've already had a Dubai city break, why not try a
little further afield? There are 6 other Emirates along with Dubai that make up
the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The others, such as Ras Al Khaimah and
Fujairah, are quieter but still have great beaches and resorts offering excellent
value for money.

The Changing Face of

world’s fastest growing holiday destinations, development in Dubai is ongoing,
so please be aware that there may be some disturbance during your stay. Here’s
a brief update on the major projects:
The Palms – 3 of the
largest man made islands on earth, each in the shape of a palm tree, are being
created off Dubai’s coastline. The Palm Jumeirah is already open - a haven of
residence and hotels including Atlantis, The Palm opened in Autumn 08, though
with 25 hotels to be constructed here development is ongoing. The Palm Jebel

Tantrum Alley and Burj Surj join Wild
Wadi’s list of thrilling attractions.
Wild Wadi Waterpark unveiled the latest additions to the park - ‘Tantrum Alley’ and ‘Burj Surj’ – to the public on
the 11th of January 2011, at 11am. Wild Wadi has been Dubai’s favorite family
destination for the last eleven years, and the new rides are set to make the
experience even better.
Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Madinat Jumeirah, Jumeirah
Zabeel Saray and Jumeirah Living World Trade Centre Residence allow you and
your family to experience the wildest waterpark in the Middle East. Wild Wadi
is situated next to our beachside hotels, in front of Burj Al Arab. Stay with
Jumeirah and take advantage of complementary access and shuttle service to Wild
Wadi.
‘Tantrum Alley’ is a ride
that incorporates two large sections of downhill waterslides and three exciting
tornadoes. Guests seated on a four-person tube will travel downhill to enter
the first tornado where they slide back and forth several times, then circle
around and around in the eye of the storm before exiting and hitting the second
tornado, and then a third, after which they splash out into the pool.
The equally adventurous ‘Burj
Surj’ consists of two large sections of downhill waterslides and
two looming ‘Bowls’. Guests are seated on a four-person tube, travelling
downhill to the bowls, where they are hurtled into a spiralling spin and then
dropped into the slide, ending with a screaming splash in the pool.
