Dubai Education

Dubai has a large education centre, with large number of public and private schools. Dubai Education system has a large number of nurseries that take children from two years old onwards, and there are also some who take children from age 18 month onwards.

Dubai nurseries are usually opened Saturdays to Wednesdays. Most of them work only 4-5 hours per day and few of them offer full day care.



The government in Dubai offers free education from Kindergarten to university for all its citizens. For all children older than 5 years full time education is compulsory.

Most of the schools in Dubai have English as the medium of instruction. However, there are other schools that teach children other foreign languages. For admission some schools conduct entrance test and most of the good schools have a long waiting list. School hours in most of the schools are from 8AM to 2PM with two to three hours breaks; in some schools day boarding is also available. As well as primary schools Dubai also has a large number of international schools which offer large scale of curriculum from Indian CBSE to IGSCE.

Dubai Forex trading education

In March 2005 in Dubai, the online trading academy opened its doors to traders wishing to acquire trading knowledge and skills. The objective of Dubai Forex trading education is to introduce active traders to the world of foreign exchange currency trading, using the latest tools and software.

Formerly Dubai Education centre had a small number of universities and colleges which taught their students in Arabic, so most of Dubai’s expatriates had to send their children to their homeland for higher studies. However, today has a number of foreign accredited universities and colleges and a large number of them teach their students English.

The American School of Dubai was established forty years ago to serve the needs of the North American families and other expatriate populations of Dubai. It was the first American Curriculum School established in Dubai, and is the only non-profit American school in the emirate. The American University in Dubai is a private non-sectarian institution of higher learning founded in 1995. Here world class career oriented education is served for UAE nationals as well as international students. Because of the high prestige given to teaching today most of the students are making rich  career in education in Dubai.
