However, since then it has become an annual shopping, entertainment and cultural extravaganza that draws people from all around the world each year. During this month they lay out a red carpet with over 2,300 retails outlets participating and offer everything from textiles, handicrafts, gold cars, perfumes, electronics and haute couture. Every year Dubai Shopping Festival stages the most exciting activities for the whole family, and most hotels and apartments also get involved offering special discounts during the period.
