a. Developing press handouts and information leaflets for press meets b. Developing press releases for medical camps, CME programmes, conferences, etc. c. Handling advertising and PR media d. Liaising with advertising agencies for positioning advertisements at vantage points
a. Participating in events that would promote business b. Participating in and sponsoring of national or international seminars related to the medical field and related to NU Hospitalsí activities, thus promoting the brand of NU Hospitals c. Conducting health care awareness programmes for the public in association with pharmaceutical companies d. Conducting medical camps ñ both in-house as well as outside the hospital campus e. Working in association with pharmaceutical companies for conducting seminars and CME programmes Relationship Building with Corporates, Insurance Companies/ TPAs, General Physicians and the Media a. Organising meetings with doctors and corporates ñ either through known sources or through cold calls, meeting and briefing them on hospital facilities, seeking support from them in the form of patient referrals and including such patient referrals in our database b. Organising CME programmes with the local IMAsí and other physicianís and surgeonís forums to increase the rapport between the internal consultants and external doctors c. Coordinating international conferences / CME programmes d. Starting new marketing activities to increase the customer base e. Establishing tie-ups with potential nursing homes / clinics / hospitals to maximise business f. Implementing various ethical motivational strategies with respect to the referring doctors in order to encourage them to provide more patient referrals. g. Empanelling with health insurance companies & third party administrators (TPAs) h. Obtaining approvals from government parastatals in order to have NU Hospitals included in their list so that those members of their staff ailing from nephrology/andrology/urology-related disorders may be referred to NU Hospitals i. Ensuring maximum customer satisfaction, and closely interacting with corporate clientele, understanding their requirements and customising services accordingly j. Organising medical camps and health talks to create awareness among general practitioners, the general public and corporates ! Interdepartmental Coordination a. Coordinating with the Relationship Manager to administer internal marketing surveys to patients in order to track service levels b. Analysing customer feedback and coordinating with the Administration department for implementing the suggestions based upon their feasibility c. Monitoring the activities of the Front Office department for the purpose of improving facilities to ensure patient satisfaction d. Coordinating with departments such as Relationship Management, Investigation Services, Consultants, etc., in order to generate reports for analysis and improvement e. Developing procedures and documentation for health insurance claims in conjunction with the Finance & Accounts department f. Imparting appropriate training for customer delight, service excellence, etc., to the hospital staff in conjunction with the HR department g. Ensuring high quality services that result in customer delight and optimum resource utilisation for maximum service quality ! Market Analysis & Benchmarking a. Competitive price tracking from other hospitals and identifying price advantages and disadvantages on a monthly basis b. Monthly updates on statistics for Urology and Nephrology across Bangalore c. Collecting competitive marketing information about competitors and evolving new marketing strategies d. Collecting and assimilating a database of specialists throughout the areas where tertiary care in nephro-urology is unavailable such as Jharkhand, Chattisgarh, etc.
