Education : Higher Secondary.

Experience : 1 - 5 Years.

Skills :
  • Should have excellent organizational and regulation skills.
  • Should have good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Should possess the capability of following orders and completing the same in the assigned time.
  • Ability to efficiently coordinate workings with internal and external workers of the company.
  • Ability to efficiently manage time and meet all deadlines.

Responsibilities :
  • Receives and verifies accuracy of incoming shipments.
  • Sorts and places materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Marks materials with identifying information.

  • Pulls and distributes materials, tools, or other stock items in order to fill technician requests.

  • Maintains accurate inventory records through the use of a computerized inventory system.
  • Completes requisition forms to order additional equipment and supplies.
  • Utilizes material handling equipment such as forklifts, etc.
  • Pulls and distributes materials, tools, or other stock items in order to fill technician requests.

  • Oversee truck loading operations to ensure all polices and procedures are followed accordingly.

Description : The profile of a Warehouse Assistant is administrative in nature and requires one to contribute towards systematizing and assisting in ensuring smooth functioning of all warehouse concerning activities. A warehouse assistant is required to work under the guidance and supervision of a warehouse manager or supervisor and carry out all orders effectively. Most warehouse assistants work in retail, aviation and manufacturing units.
