Job Description:


SCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To ensure that all guests are greeted with a friendly welcome and offered the highest standards of guest care and customer satisfaction in line with the Departmental SOP Manual.

DUTIES

To promote a helpful and professional image to the guest, and give cooperation to any guest requiring assistance, with a prompt caring and helpful attitude. 
To maintain the brand standard of treatment techniques to ensure continuity of practises. 
To have a full knowledge of spa treatments and the products in order to advise guests on the most suitable treatments / products for their needs. 
To positively promote sales within the Thai Spa and maximise sales opportunities for the whole hotel. 
To liaise with the spa manager and senior therapist with marketing / promotional strategies that are in line with the hotel marketing policy and carry them out. 
To assist the reception team when quiet. 
To ensure the smooth checking In & and Out of all guests, following the standards set by the SOP manual when on the reception desk. 
To manage the booking system for treatments efficiently set by the SOP manual. 
To maintain the high standards of housekeeping within your room and the Thai Spa. 
To be aware of different services of the resort operations to be able to inform guests. 

HEALTH AND SAFETY

To be aware of and adhere to all Health, Fire and Safety Procedures and to remain vigilant to possible risks and ensure that anything of a suspicious nature is reported to management. 
To wear the correct personal protective equipment when exposed to chemicals.

MISCELLANEOUS

Maintain high level of Standards, Personal Hygiene, Uniform, Appearance and conduct. 
To attend all meetings and training courses requested by your Departmental Manager or Human Resources and Quality Officer. 
To continuously seek to improve your department''s efficient operation and standards. 
To be fully conversant with the sales function within your departments and to take every opportunity to optimise sales. 
To assist with observing security measures for the hotel and report anything that may appear suspicious.
To pass on all lost property to the Accommodation Department.
To ensure all maintenance needs are reported to the Maintenance Coordinator/ Duty Manager.
