Education : Bachelors Degree.

Experience : 1 - 5 Years.

Salary : $88,000 to $146,000 per year.

Skills : Excellent persuasive written and verbal communication skills are essential to this role along with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with all levels of company staff, media outlet personnel and the public. Other necessary traits are creativity, maturity, decisiveness, flexibility, tactfulness, enthusiasm and the ability to positively motivate others. Familiarity with web content management and the use of social media as a public relations tool is also essential.

Description : The role of a public relations (PR) executive is to manage the reputation of a company, organization or individual. A PR executive may work for an agency and offer services to a wide range of clients on a freelance basis. Alternatively, some larger companies employ a public relations team to manage communication between the company and media. The world of public relations is growing at a fast pace and competition for job roles is becoming ever more competitive.
