Laboratory Technician

A lab technician is a medical professional. Working under the direct supervision of a physician or a medical technologist, they are required to administer tests of tissue, blood and bodily fluids in an effort to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating ailments.

Urgently required LASER TECHNICIAN with DOH License in a New Nutrition Center. As a Laser Technician, your responsibilities include performing laser hair removal, laser skin rejuvenation, photo facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels and other medical skin cosmetic services for our clients.  To become a lab technician, a candidate must possess an associate's degree from a junior college within microbiology, mathematics or a related field of study. To qualify for advancement, they must obtain a four year degree within medical technology, biology or a related field of study. Additionally, some states require those in this field to be licensed to practice, though those requirements vary by state. Candidates may also choose to become certified by a recognized professional association such as the Board of Registry of the American Society for Clinical Pathology, the American Medical Technologists and the National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel
