a private clinic in Dubai to start as soon as possible. Education is required
from Europian , australian , American , South african University. Minimum
experience required is 2 years. The salary is commission based or AED 6000 plus

Description :
- working with patients
to identify the physical problem; - developing and reviewing treatment
programmes; - assisting patients with joint and spinal problems, especially
following surgery; - helping patients' rehabilitation following accidents,
injury and strokes; - supervising physiotherapy assistants; - writing
patient case notes and reports; - collecting patient statistics; -
educating and advising patients and their carers about how to prevent and/or
improve conditions; - keeping up to date with new techniques and
technologies available for treating patients; - liaising with other
healthcare personnel to supply and receive relevant information about the
background and progress of patients, as well as referring patients who require
other specific medical attention.
Responsibility Carry on physiotherapy assessment & treatment. Liaise closely with referrers to the clinic; GPs and the primary care team, consultants and their team. Refer to oncologists in the event of increasing symptoms. Undertake specialist mobility assessment within the guidelines that are in line national and local policy. Provide statistical data regarding the physiotherapy service as required. Be actively involved in audit of the physiotherapy service. Responsible for equipment used in course of treatment. Be actively involved in audit of the breathlessness clinic, and engage in research projects (if appropriate). Provide statistical data as required and provide written report to Chief Executive for Board Meetings. Help to publicise the clinic, attend meetings as required both at LMH and elsewhere. Be actively involved in national initiatives in the management of breathlessness in palliative care. Participate in education programs provided via Lewis-Manning Hospice. Teach other trained staff to complete and review the mobility risk assessments in the absence of the physiotherapist. Provide regular educational update for mobility assessments of patients in day hospice for clinical staff. Give talks to other health care professionals as required, to disseminate information regarding the treatment of breathlessness and role of physiotherapy in day care. Teach health care professionals, as required, the principles and practices of the breathlessness clinic. Attend in-service training and undertake other training when agreed appropriate by your line manager, this may entail travel. Work always within the scope of professional practice of Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and adhere to standards of physiotherapy practice Comply with relevant legislation, including Health and Safety at Work Act. Take responsibility for own professional development. Accountable for own professional actions within scope of practice. To maintain a high level of personal hygiene in general and hand hygiene in particular and to abide by the appropriate policy and procedures. Have the skills for assessing and diagnosing a range of complex patient conditions appropriate treatment and range of options. Attend report sessions and contribute to these. Assess and review patients physiotherapy needs and treat as appropriate in close liaison with Day Hospice registered nurses in general and Day Hospice Staff .
