Education : Bachelors Degree. Experience : 1 - 5 Years. Responsibilities : • Implement procurement strategy and policies. • Predict procurement needs. • Generate and execute KPIs. • Continually develop Proficiency to sustain growth for new projects. • Examine macro trends in supplier and contract base and execute plans to react. • Make and develop relationships with primal suppliers and customers. • Lead the procurement group in all phases. • Recognize and develop training opportunities. • Order materials and services as per talked terms and suitably approved. Review quotations. • Set up purchase requisitions, sanction and issues purchase orders in accordance with company policy and negotiated terms and conditions. • Preserve procurement files. • Track Purchasing activity and measurements. • Training purchasing Clerks and Salesmen in the department. • Discuss defective or unacceptable fresh commodities or services with users, vendors and others to determine root of problem and take disciplinary and preventive action. • Assure supplier compliance with site and company prerequisites for safety. • Handle vendor relationships and assist in building useful partnerships. • Assist department in developing and implementing purchasing strategies for products. • Taking over an existing project of customised and private label food products. • Responsible for planning, developing and buying materials, parts, supplies and equipments in a well timed and cost effective way ; timely fashion while sustaining appropriate quality measures and specifications. • Dealing with suppliers. • Dealing with Brokers. • Develop and review purchase requests and assure authorisation as necessary to ease the timely purchase of new food products. • Assist to lower the cost and secure agreements. • Liaise with Accounts Payable Section to ensure precise and timely payment of invoices, as necessary for the business with the supplier.
