The right individual for this position will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role. 

Must have previous experience managing a team of credit controllers. 

Must have the capability to work within a team environment while having the leadership and motivational qualities to allow you to handle your team expeditiously.

Responsibilities :

Receives incoming cash either by cheque or BACS, and processes cash onto the system. 

Balances total cheques, cash, BACS and credit card payments to cash book. 

Monitors overdue payments by usage of a spreadsheet. 

Ledger and bank reconciliations, looks into misallocated cash and money gone missing. 

Liaises with single credit rating controllers in respect of cash question allocations. 

Work to strict deadlines.

Description : When a credit card company or other business loans money or issues a credit card to a customer, they must ascertain to some degree that the customer will be able to repay the loan credit with interest some time in the future. Most business enterprises check that the customer has ample income and pays bills in full and on time. The person who makes the final decision to extend or deny credit is the credit manager.

Consumer credit managers direct the credit operations of retail stores and credit bureaus. The size of the operation decides each manager's duties.
