Dubai climate is subtropical, dry and rainfall is infrequent but when showers do fall it is mainly in the cooler months. The best time to go to Dubai is between the month of December and March. During these months Dubai weather is pleasant and soothing, the temperature is also pleasant.

The hottest months are between June and September when the temperature rises to 45o C during the day and the humidity is very high. October, November and April has more reasonable temperatures which is between 30o C to 35o C. while much is written about the fierce heat of Dubai in summer, the fact remains that for eight months of the year the climate of Dubai is extremely pleasant; warm, dry days and clear blue, cloudless skies.

The major part of the year Dubai weather is hot and humid with scanty and irregular showers especially during winter. On the coastal plain in the west one will encounter south-easterly winds at night while during the day you will encounter north-westerlies. The coastal plain in the east is close to the hilly region thereby having rough and erratic winds. A sudden change from the northerly to the southerly wind may bring thunders and sandstorms. The pressure changes in the Gulf and the low pressure area from Sahara to China together create the climate in UAE and thereby the Dubai climate. The Bedouin tribes believed that the variations in Dubai climate affected mortality. Different names were assigned to the different winds and they were said to possess different features.
